Founded in Los Angeles, KNIT was born from a simple conviction: the bathroom deserves better than what it is usually given. Drawing on the clarity of mid-century California and the discipline of good industrial design, it set out to make a single thing — the bath towel — and make it properly.
Since the beginning, KNIT has held an honest commitment to uncompromising quality, built through close collaboration with a family-owned mill in Turkey. As a brand, it recognises its responsibility to reduce its impact: it rejects rapid trend cycles, weaves for longevity, and ships nothing in plastic. The cotton is 100% organic and single-origin. The dyes are plant-based and skin-safe. Nothing is bleached or sprayed.
With a foundation in a single towel, the collection now comes in three considered configurations — the Single, the Double, and the Knit Kit, paired with a hand-finished tortoiseshell tray — all made to be lived in and made to last.
KNIT is available globally online and through a small number of carefully selected retail partners. Everything is designed, and quietly obsessed over, in Los Angeles.
