After manufacturing, the vast majority of bath towels are “cleaned” with a synthetic chemical solution called Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) - a water-soluble polymer found in detergent pods and household cleaning products. PROBLEM IS, store-bought bath towels are bringing PVAs into your home and into direct contact with your skin.
